Two weeks ago, I updated my CS5 to CS6 directly from Adobe.com, the updating cost is $199.
After almost two weeks use, I found there are some sections that CS6 make progressive improvement.

Some are brand new features.
Like: Field blur, Iris blur, Tilt-shift blur( comes from 4x5 camera concept).
Content-aware move, Perspective cropping, Wide angle filter.
Light-effect comes back, which CS4 has it.

Quick selection is more effective than CS5, but when you make mask edge refine, it looks no difference. Looks not did edge refine.
Probably, they do not need refine edge. I am not sure. I hope your guys share the experience with me about the refine the edge issue.

My conclusion is: worth it.

Here are two photos, one is original, which was shoot by Sony nex-7 body, Olympus OM 50mm f1.2 lens @f2.
The 2nd one is processed by CS6.
