EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM
minimum focusing distance 0.3m

But I think Simon uses this:
EF 100mm f/2 USM
0.9m
i should be able to get closer with my 105mm from 0.45m, than this 100mm?

wish my 24-105mm minimum distance is less than 0.45!
EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
0.45m

i like your last photo, that soft style

when i get my pic sharp, the background always gets too hash...

a long way to go!

百微 can wait till next year - this spring is almost over?

minimum focusing distance 0.3m

But I think Simon uses this:
EF 100mm f/2 USM
0.9m
i should be able to get closer with my 105mm from 0.45m, than this 100mm?

wish my 24-105mm minimum distance is less than 0.45!
EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
0.45m

i like your last photo, that soft style

when i get my pic sharp, the background always gets too hash...

a long way to go!

I noticed that you have Nikon, so this is what you need: Nikon 105mm f/2.8 VR, Nikon's best.

上回南巡，大部队是周六去的，我是周日去的，没赶上。

我的百微是第一代EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro，没有IS，价格也是二代的一半，有0.31m和0.48m两档。被称为不带红圈的红圈头。在买8512之前，它是我拍人像的首选。 :D
