I was thinking about the same thing! Sunny and no moon tonight!

Question is where:
Borrego Springs is nice as you can see milky way there every night except around the full moon.
Joshua tree, 120 miles away, should be the same light polution wise?
Anywhere near?
Joshua Tree sunset at 4:39 and moonrise at 7:19 - but it's a new moon so it can't be seen - perfect!
