长周末去哪里总是一个难题：
1. 总是要等到最后一刻才知道有空没空 （for me that would be this morning when I finally know）。。。
2. 人多的地方总是不要去，除非摄影主题是“view from my car window” which by the way is cool。。。
3. 近的地方（360英里之内的窝边草）大都扫过几遍啦，远的地方开车/照相时间比太差。
4. 有家的酒肉哥们/摄影朋友总是不肯为朋友一肋插刀 – 两肋插刀是久远的童话，连想都懒得去想！
。。。
解决方式？
1. 看看有那位高人/诸葛亮已经有主意啦！ 此乃上策！ No pain just gain!
2. 看看”群众的智慧和力量”在美国管用不管用？此乃中策。
3. Just go to
http://www.expedia.com to get a hotel for 2 nights (3 days) somewhere remote but interesting, and figure the rest out from the hotel bar. Of course the challenge is to define “somewhere”. 此乃下策，但随风飘荡常常有意想不到的意外。用”意外”不用”惊喜”是因为意外有好的意外也有坏的意外， 呵呵。。。
4. As (3) with at least 1 attraction, but make it a resort/spa at/near a casino (hence swim, massage, table games etc.). Shoot sunrise/sunset only, and relax the hell out of the remaining time of the day! Who knows, the best shooting idea might be from the 21 table after a couple beers? Mesquite (300 miles away) seems fine for (4), close to Valley of Fire and Zion. 剩下时间拱猪也可以？ Might finally find time to learn CS3 (don’t have CS4 yet) this time?
可以周5下班后，或周6一大早走。

Here is A possible idea for families that are still undefined for the weekend, who want to go somewhere new but don’t want to drive far:
Borrego Springs (Anza Borrego Desert State Park, star watching – you can see Milky Way plus some shooting stars unless full moon, see Salton Sea, sleep in and order room service, play in the swimming pool, 也许可以看见草狼追鸭子?)
