My Master Plan:

出发： 周4（2号）下班后，有可能塞车，要不周5（3号）赶早
返回： 周日（5号）日落后，反正早走到了LA塞车
原则： 在塞车前到目的地，在塞车后回来，外加目的地最好不要太有名
干嘛： 不想塞车的话，要么野营要么驻一个风景点酒店，在附近转
哪里： 不知道！ ：-）

plan B: Laughlin, take laptops and run photo workshop(s) there - kidnap a couple of pros from the salon if necessary, plus food, drinks and Mr. B. Jack...river's nice and London Bridge is not bad...basically go out around sunrise/sunset and stay in during the day...

往北跑可以去Crater Lake National Park，Olympic National Park (U.S. National Park Service)，这2处都是好地方。jd看一下你的留言箱。

Wow, drive non-stop 1231 miles and 19 hours 22 minutes all the way to Hurricane Ridge, Olympic National Park

Take one good photo of snow covered peaks with green grass covered hills with wild yellow flowers at front, possibly with deers spread over the hills

And it would be about the time to start driving back...no time to relex at First Beach...or wait for the snow moutain reflection in Mills Lake because of clouds...

Breath taking place!!!

Hi There!

If you have time, you can cover both Mt Rainier and Olympic National Parks.

1 day: Mt Rainier is easy, CCW "loop" with a short detour to White River and Sunrise Visitor Center, where you get excellent view of the ice covered 4392m high "monster".

1 day: Olympic is also CCW in general, following #101 which itself is scenic drive outside the park. 1st stop is Hurricane Ridge detour, then 3 more stops/detours into the park - the last 1 is Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center. Then follow #101 to 1st Beach (4 there from 1 to 4).

You can complete the loop by driving south, but I was told that it is easier to return by the same #101 route (backtrack).

11 days, nice, I was thinking 4-5 days...

Victoria is right across Port Angeles by ferry, optional.

I only spent a day in Olympic, and I didn't hike, but my guess is that 3 days are more than enough.

Wish I can spend 11 days there!

You'll have tons nice photos!
